Detailed Description

Anyone recognized by the Attorney General as not eligible for a diplomatic (A-1), marriage (F-6), tourist (H-1), or visitor (H-2) status.

Maximum period of stay that can be granted once: 1 year

Refugees who have been denied asylum and are granted humanitarian stays

Humanitarian stay permit holders for pregnancy, childbirth, etc.

Patients and their families who need long-term treatment after entering the country for medical treatment, etc.

Persons in need of humanitarian consideration, such as victims of sexual assault
