Religious visas
Upper limit on the length of stay that can be granted once: 2 years.
Who can apply?
A person who is seconded by a foreign religious or social welfare organization to work in its registered branch in Korea.
Persons sent by a foreign religious or social welfare organization to perform religious activities in a related religious organization in Korea.
Invited by a medical, educational, or relief organization run by a religious organization to engage in missionary or social work activities.
Those who are recommended by a domestic religious organization and engage in religious study, training, or research activities at that organization.
Invited by a domestic religious organization or social welfare organization to engage in social welfare activities.
Required Documents
Application form (Exhibit 34), original passport, one standard-sized photograph, and fee.
A copy of your religious organization's establishment permit or social welfare organization's establishment permit
