Technical training visa

Maximum length of stay that can be granted once: 2 years.

Who can apply?

Those who meet the training conditions prescribed by the Minister of Justice and wish to receive training at a domestic industrial company.

Those who wish to receive training at an industrial organization that has made a direct investment in a foreign country under the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act.

An industrial company that exports technology to a foreign country and wishes to receive training at an industrial company recognized by the Minister of Justice as requiring technical training.

Those who wish to receive training at an industrial organization that exports industrial equipment to a foreign country under the Foreign Trade Act.

Required Documents

Application form (Exhibit 34), passport, and one standard-sized photograph.

Copy of local business license

A copy of the invitee's employment certificate and passport issued by the head of the local corporation

Proof of Korean language proficiency

Training plan to confirm the training contents

Guarantee of the sponsor's identity

Documents to prove that the sponsoring company is an authorized training company

Documents proving the number of permanent domestic workers required to calculate the number of trainees.

Other documentation of the training environment, such as the availability of training facilities and adequate accommodations.
